I sometimes borrow his flat in Budapest, and the last time i lived there, i was very pregnant. The last time we met was in 2003, here in Oslo. We both had kids and married since then. I thought he still lived with his wife and two kids in New York, but guess what? They now live in Villefranche, the city next to Cap D´Ail. Looking forward to see you "my friend", and hopefully your wife and kids as well!

Next exposition at Hotel Normandy Cap d´ail, 16. Of April 2010

Eva Christin Laszka was born in Oslo in the autumn of 1969, by a Norwegian mum and a Hungarian dad. She knew since she was eight, that she wanted to move straight to her relatives in Budapest, when she finished the gymnasium in Oslo. There she attended the High School "Iparmüvészeti Föiskola" from 1988 - 1992. She took her diploma in Graphic design/Illustration and learned the Hungarian language fluently.
In 1994 she discovered a print technique by accident, and used it for illustrations in different medias. One day she had to find some new techniques to get the same expression. The reason for this was that the material had been taken off the market because of the danger of pollution. Each artwork is unique since she paints differently on each work.
She has worked as a Graphic designer and illustrator up to present date, but also started to exhibit in 2001. She has mainly printed photo/Illustrations made in Photoshop, on Canvas, and painted with acryl.
She has also used the water colour Ecoline on thick cotton paper, making croquies. She also paints originals with acryl.
Her prices has been from 200 EUR to 5000 EUR.
The sizes on her pictures are from 10x10 cm up to 150x150 cm.
She loves to find inspiration in music and movies. An act. Strong feelings. Curiousity. Double meaning. Melancoly. Hope....
